I acknowledge what a privilege it is to live and work on Kaurna land. I pay respect to all First Nations people and honour elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
Rosina Possingham is an emerging multi-disciplinary artist who is motivated to challenge, and rediscover the way people experience the landscape and environment. Her evolving practice incorporates various forms of participation through collaborative processes and digital strategies that focus on image making, drawing and abstract mapping. Her work is focussed on our human relationship with the natural world through notions of place and the local. Rosina completed her Masters in Visual Art in Design at the University of South Australia in 2016 and recently directed Herding Caterpillars, a play turned into extended reality using VR technology for Nature Festival.
You will find her: playing with old film cameras, scanning things, working on community art/design projects [all ages], taking images of plants, landscapes, and bodies in nature.
Rosina is a current studio member of Floating Goose Studios.
