Butterfly Conservation SA and creative producer Rosina Possingham present Herding Caterpillars – an extended reality experience that explores the life cycle of the chequered copper butterfly.

Based on a 2021 theatrical performance, Herding Caterpillars is now brought to life in the virtual world through a host of delightful characters.

Discover the virtual reality (VR) experience at the State Library of South Australia’s Institute Building from 14 – 16 October, or check out the augmented reality (AR) from 6 – 16 October.

AR is at three CBD locations: South Australian Museum lawns, MOD., Pakapakanthi/Victoria Park (Park 16), where the chequered copper butterfly was re-discovered in 2011.
